ROCHESTER - Carl A. Macedo, 77, of Rochester died October 3, 2024 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Husband of Barbara J. (Duclos) Macedo and son of the late John and Lillian (Spindler) Macedo.

Born in Acushnet, he resided in New Bedford for 21 years and in Dartmouth for several years before relocating to Rochester 35 years ago.

Mr. Macedo was employed as a truck driver for Jack Brassells, Inc. and Medeiros & Sons Construction both located in Dartmouth and also for G. Bourne Knowles in Fairhaven until his retirement. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Mark A. Macedo and his companion, Susan Frates; his brother, John Macedo and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Macedo was predeceased by his infant son, Scott A. Macedo, his brother, Richard Macedo and his sister-in-law, Elaine "Penny" Macedo.
