Christmas day swim to benefit Helping Hands and Hooves

MATTAPOISETT — Take a plunge with Helping Hands and Hooves for a tradition helping those in need.
The organization will host its 22nd annual Christmas Day Swim at 11 a.m. at Mattapoisett Town Beach.
Each swimmer is asked to donate $20, payable on the day of the swim.
The first 75 swimmers will receive a free long-sleeved T-shirt.
All proceeds will benefit Helping Hands and Hooves, a nonprofit based in Mattapoisett dedicated to providing therapeutic horseback riding lessons for adults with disabilities.
