Sylvia Finger Marlio

Sylvia Finger Marlio died on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 surrounded by her three children.  Born in Paris, France on March 26, 1933, she was raised in New Canaan, CT.  She was a proud alumna of Abbott Academy and Smith College. With her late husband, Gerard Mosseri Marlio, she lived in Paris before returning to the United States, first to New York City and then to Marion, MA in 1975.

She was an accomplished golfer. Her many achievements and interests led to deep friendships during each phase of her life, in different countries and cultures, including Curaçao where they lived for a few years before retirement. She is survived by her sons Jacques and his wife Jacs, Charles, her daughter Anne and her husband Reto, as well her grandchildren Jenny and Will, their spouses, and 5 great-grandchildren.
