Paul Espejo, 97, died Wednesday, March 2, 2023 at Our Lady’s Haven in Fairhaven.

Paul was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Ruth Volgalles Espejo and Pablo Espejo. He served our country during WWII. Paul later settled in Vallejo, CA where he was a beloved part of the Filipino community and became an honorary brother to the late George, Joe, and Burton Oriarte. Eventually he came to Marion, MA where he met his wife of 45 years now, Sharon “Debbie” Espejo.

Paul was loved by many friends and his in- laws but his family is:

His children - the late Paul ‘Junior’ Espejo and his late wife Mari Espejo, the late Eddie Espejo, Candice Schwartz, Dana DeGrace and his wife Lisa DeGrace, Darryl and Jacqui DeGrace, Roberta Dixon, and Jeré Espejo Martins and her husband Paul Martins.

His grandkids - Michael Luiken, Robert Espejo, Eddie Espejo, Rick Espejo, Jeanine LaBarbera , Dana Degrace Jr., Taylá DeGrace, Darryl DeGrace Jr, Bernadette Espejo, Dominique Espree, Jazmyn Espree, Kenneth Espree Jr., Vida Jones, and Cali Correia.

His nephew Dino Espejo, nieces Monica Hubert and Laura Espejo, and many great grandchildren.

In lieu of visiting hours, a celebration of Pau’s life will be held Friday, March 10, 2023 from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Dudley Brown VFW Post, 4 Gibbs Ball Park Road, Wareham, MA 02571. He will be laid to rest on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Evergreen Cemetery, Mill St. and Converse Rd., Marion, MA at 11 AM.
