Take a bird walk in Mattapoisett

MATTAPOISETT — Join the Mattapoisett Land Trust and the Nasketucket Bird Club on Saturday, June 10 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. for a beginner’s level birding walk.

This birding walk will be led by Justin Barrett, president of the Nasketucket Bird Club. Justin will lead the group through the woods and out to the beach, identifying birds by sight and sound.

The walk will take place on the Mattapoisett Land Trust’s Munn Preserve trail. Meet just before 8 a.m. at the parking area at the end of Mattapoisett Neck Road, just before Antassawamock Road in Mattapoisett.

Bring binoculars and dress appropriately for the outdoors, including sturdy footwear. This is a free event.
