Elizabeth Taber Library closures and events

MATTAPOISETT — The Elizabeth Taber Library will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The Cozy Cup Book Club will be discussing “Vera Wong’s Guide to Snooping (on a Dead Man)” on Jan. 14 and Jan. 28. Coffee and tea are provided.

Rickrack the Clown will come back to the library for a red nose reader program on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. 

Rickrack will read a story and then put on her clown makeup during the program. This storytime is for kids of all ages.

This year’s Take Your Child to the Library Day will be on Saturday, Feb. 7. There will be crafts, storytime and more between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m..
