New Board President selected at Sippican Lands Trust

MARION — The Sippican Lands Trust has appointed Jeff Doubrava as president of its Board of Directors, succeeding longtime board president Cathy Stone.

Doubrava previously served as the board's vice president. Carolyn Tepolt, a longtime board member, has been named vice president.

Stone will remain on the board. During her tenure, the Sippican Lands Trust expanded efforts to protect open space in Marion and strengthen community connections to local natural resources.

The organization's mission is to acquire, preserve and protect land in Marion for long-term conservation, while encouraging engagement with the natural world.
