Jeffrey W. Kahler, 57
Jeffrey W. Kahler, 57, of Fall River, formerly of Marion, Mass., died Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, following a cardiac event.
Born in Providence, a son of Devon (Langley) Kahler of Lincoln, and the late William M. Kahler, he had resided in Marion before moving to Fall River last year.
Jeffrey was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where he earned his B.S. in Physics and Applied Mathematics, and earned his M.A. from Rhode Island College in Teaching. He taught Science and Mathematics at B.M.C. Durfee High School, Fall River, and was an adjunct professor at several insitutions, including the Community College of Rhode Island and New England Institute of Technology.
Jeff enjoyed skiing, snowboarding, surfing and sailing, as well as cheering on the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He had a great sense of humor, and was fun to be around. Everyone who knew him, knew he was patient and kind.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister Julia Kahler Henning and his brother-in-law Edward Henning of Salem, Mass. Jeff was a proud uncle of their daughters, Kate and Eve Henning.
A Celebration of His Life will be held Friday, August 7, 2026 at 12 Noon in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours prior to the service from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
