Marion Veterans Day Ceremony to be held Nov. 11

MARION — Marion is preparing to honor its veterans.
The annual Veterans Day ceremony will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at Old Landing Veteran's Park on Front Street.
The ceremony will have a guest speaker, Tri-Town Veterans Service Officer Christopher P. Gerrior, a retired lieutenant from the U.S. Navy.
The Sippican School Band will perform selections of patriotic music.
Marion's Council on Aging will host a luncheon at noon the same day for veterans, active duty service members, spouses and guests. Please RSVP for the event at the Benjamin D. Cushing Community Center by Nov. 6 by calling 508-748-3570.
