ROCHESTER — The Rochester Police Department arrested alleged rapist and kidnapper Nicholas Carnazza on Thursday, March 6.

Carnazza was charged with three counts of aggravated rape, one count of kidnapping, one count of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years old or over and one count of intimidation of a witness.

“I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our dedicated officers whose hard work and perseverance led to this important apprehension,” said Rochester Police Chief Michael Assad. “Their commitment to providing justice and support for the victim is commendable and reflects the values of our department.”
