Neighbors helping neighbors: monthly food drive

MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Congregational Church at 27 Church St. is having a monthly food drive to help ensure community members have enough food to put on the table.

Drop off donations of non-perishable food to volunteers at the church's Mechanic Street parking lot on Nov. 19 and the third Thursday of every month from 5-6:30 p.m. In addition to non-perishable items, consider donating diapers, toothbrushes, toothpaste and toiletries.

The food will be donated to Damien's Pantry in Wareham.
